SecureForce UK is a regional security company based in Newton Abbot and Newbury, offering manned guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and concierge services. They identified a widespread problem in the industry: clients questioning whether out-of-hours patrols were actually taking place. Real-Link gave them the means to prove it.
There are around 460,000 SIA-licensed security operatives across more than 11,000 registered security companies in the UK. In a competitive market, the companies that retain clients long term are the ones that can prove their patrols happened. Proof of attendance is not a nice to have. It is what separates a professional security company from one that relies on trust alone.
SecureForce placed strong emphasis on service quality from the start. But like many security companies, they faced a credibility problem: clients regularly questioned whether contracted patrols were taking place out of hours. Without a reliable, real-time way to prove service delivery, building lasting client relationships was difficult.
Their existing approach required manual downloads and delayed reporting, making it impossible to give clients immediate visibility or respond quickly when something went wrong.
SecureForce implemented Real-Link across their operation using NFC-enabled mobile phones and RFID tags placed at checkpoints on each site. The system provided live tracking of all patrols, viewable by both management and clients, with timestamped proof of presence at every checkpoint.
Beyond patrol verification, Real-Link also handles structured fire alarm test procedures with prompts triggered by tag scans, secure access to alarm and gate codes retrievable only via location-based tags, and attendance alerts that notify supervisors immediately when a patrol is missed or late.
Real-Link lets you show clients exactly where your guards were and when, from any device, the moment a checkpoint is scanned.
