Time and Attendance

Core feature

Real-Link Time and Attendance replaces paper timesheets and manual sign-in sheets with NFC-verified clock-in and clock-out records. A photo is captured automatically at every clock-in. Records are tamper-proof and available in the portal in real time.

How clock-in works

A fixed NFC reader is installed at the site entrance. When an operative arrives, they tap their individual card or fob against the reader and enter their PIN. The clock-in record is created automatically with:

  • The operative's identity (from their login)
  • Their PIN confirmation
  • An automatic photo taken at the moment of scan
  • The GPS location of the device
  • A server-side timestamp
Three-point verification

Real-Link T&A uses PIN, photo and NFC tag location together. This combination makes it impossible for one person to clock in for another, since the system captures a photo of whoever is holding the device at the point of scan.

Supervisor monitoring

The portal shows attendance in real time. Supervisors can see who has clocked in, who is currently on site, who is late and who has not arrived, across all sites from a single view.

Clients with portal access can see attendance records for their site. When a client disputes whether an operative was present, the photo, timestamp and GPS coordinate in the record resolve the question without further discussion.
